Requirements:

– Minimum 3 – 5 years driving / operating 34 ton vehicles preferably Horse and Trailer

Valid SA Code 14 driver’s license with PD

Clear criminal record verified by a Police clearance certificate

Reside in Gauteng

Willing to work 6 days a week (Local/Regional Deliveries)

Motivated and reliable

Good communication skills

Numerical ability and basic computer knowledge is a must

Willingness to work overtime

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

Ensuring the vehicles are loaded correctly as well as check documentation against the loads

Ensure that correct quantities and loads are delivered

Ensure all proof of deliveries is signed on delivery as well as all drivers’ documentation are kept up to date (Trip sheets, Inspection Reports, Service Booking)

Description:
Our Agricultural and Agro- Processing company is seeking to employ an Assistant Farm Manager / Production Manager for our Pretoria North operation, Walmansthal, Rooiwal area. Reporting to the Operational Director, The company will offer a competitive salary as well as a company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

Control and effective management of production facets of the farm including Planting, Plant protection, Harvesting, Post Harvest, Fertilizer, Pest control and irrigation in adherence to company protocol

Effective management of budgets and recordkeeping

Daily Reports to management

Effective management of workforce

Requirements:

Post matric Agricultural qualification and 3 years relevant experience in a similar position

Valid SA Driver's Licence

Clear criminal record and valid SA ID

Strong organisational and management skills

Excellent people skills

Must be computer literate and have administration skills
