🚨 URGENT HEALTH ALERT FOR ALL PET OWNERS 🚨

We have just been informed by Olivedale Veterinary Clinic that a confirmed case of Canine Distemper has been reported in our area.

👉 Distemper is highly contagious, extremely painful, and almost always fatal.
👉 Parvovirus is another deadly virus spreading in Gauteng — both are 100% preventable with vaccines.
👉 Puppies, unvaccinated dogs, and dogs with lapsed vaccinations are at the highest risk.

⚠️ If your dog is not vaccinated or has missed their booster, they are at serious risk right now.
⚠️ These viruses spread quickly through contact, shared bowls, grooming parlours, daycare, kennels, and even on shoes and clothing.

💉 What you MUST do immediately:

Check your dog’s vaccination card TODAY.

Puppies require a full course of vaccinations (not just one jab).

Adult dogs need annual boosters to stay protected.

Book a vet appointment immediately if your pet is not up to date.

This is not something to “wait and see.” Distemper and Parvo kill fast and cause immense suffering. Vaccination is the only way to keep your furbabies safe.
