With years of experience in the animal welfare environment, Wag Play Purr offers a comprehensive variety of services. It is however a little easier for your 4-legged babies if they can stay at home, surrounded by all the familiar smells of their human family. I offer a private pet sitting service, including daily visits to feed and interact with your beloved animal, water plants and switch lights

on/off. For those pet parents who wish I can also offer an additional Skype/facebook interaction so you can be in touch with your babies. I have worked with animals for years and have extensive experience with all types of problems from shy or aggressive animals to special needs animals. I have a close relationship with a number of vets around Johannesburg and worked as a vets assistant at a local animal sanctuary - so I am equipped to recognise any medical concerns immediately. This service is offered in the Douglasdale, Fourways, Bryanston areas only. Dog Walking:
Most people work and some aren't able to still walk the pooches when you get home. If you are in the Douglasdale/Fourways area I can help by taking the dogs out once a day for a minimum 30 minute walk and a visit to the local dog park (if wanted). This helps to alleviate stress and frustration so that when you get home all you need to worry about is giving them your love and affection! Pet Companionship:
Many animal lovers wish to adopt a single animal. However, it is better for animals to have companionship during the day otherwise they tend to suffer from behavioural issues. The reality is that many complexes have limitations on pet numbers and some people only want one animal - and many welfares won't adopt single animals. I can help with this by offering a pet companionship service in the Douglasdale area whereby I can spend time with your single pet during the day to provide them with sufficient stimulation. Catification:
A new trend is to 'catify' your home. For cats to be happy and well adjusted they need an environment that gives them physical and emotional stimulation. As an interior designer I can design cat trees, shelves and other activities that will help stimulate you kitty. Pet Furniture:

One of my biggest projects lately was a custom made cat tree which was delivered over the weekend. The tree has been waterproofed, and the covers are removable for easy cleaning. By using natural materials and waterproofing all other areas it ensures that the tree doesn't collapse as it is based outside in a catio. Apparently the cats were already enjoying it when we left! It was a busy weekend but I also finished an incredible upholstery job on an original chair (it still used springs and was made properly from oak! It got distressed so that you could see from of the original colour and got some amazing modern patterns and textures to make it SO comfortable! Clients are super happy with all their goods (they also ordered the cat beds/foot stools).

This cushion was made super fast (24hours) for a doggie that needed a specific soft bed. Didn't take the baby to jump on...
