A very sad week for all of us at Ontdekkers our main dog groomer Anna Mahonono passed away on Monday after a long illness she endured with fortitude and courage,and will be laid to rest today. We would like to wish her sons Sipo and Lucky our sincear condolences. To all her friends and family may you be blessed by her loving memories and ne comforted in the knowledge she will no longer endure any pain and suffering.

We will be open during the Covid 19 Lock down with slightly changed hours (7-30 am to 5 pm Mon-Fri and 7-30am -11am Sat ) To prevent any risk of further spread of the Corona virus we ask that you phone ahead of time and schedule your visit. Collection of chronic medications and prescription foods can be done the entire day, but ask that these be pre ordered so as to limit both your and our staffs exposure time to outside contact.

Dear client, while the products used to wash and dip dogs in our grooming parlour are designed to kill ticks and fleas, it is important to note that these products do not have a residual effect. This means that, within 24hours of grooming, any ticks and fleas living in your environment can re-infest your pet.

It is important to make use of products that have a water resistant, long term effect between grooms. We are currently contracted to the E-PETSTORE online shopping service, where you are able to purchase all the veterinary accredited products and have it delivered to your doorstep.
