It is South Africa's second largest independent Animal Welfare Organization, as such, we are not a PRO-LIFE organisation. The Animal Anti-Cruelty League Johannesburg is a registered NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION (NPO 000-560) and also a PUBLIC BENEFIT ORGANISATION (PBO 930006842)
Note: As a PBO we fall under the Section 18(A) of the Income tax Act, and as such your donations to the Animal Anti-Cruelty

League Johannesburg are considered "TAX FREE" and claimable, if you have obtained a Section 18(A) receipt from us.

A huge thank you to the team at Nevada Group for hosting the wonderful inaugural Paws in the Park event on Sunday, 7 June 2026.
We had an incredible day and were delighted to bring some of our adoptable animals along to meet the community. The additional exposure for our dogs was invaluable and gives them an even better chance of finding the loving forever homes they deserve.
A special thank you to our supporters who stopped by to say hello and share updates on the animals they have adopted from us over the years. Hearing these happy stories means so much to our team.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic event and look forward to the next one! group
