Meet Tungston, the 9 year old boerboel has developed joint displacement over the last few months. He finds it more and more difficult to get up as he gets older. The vet recommended for him to get paracetemol along with joint powder each day. We really did not want to give him paracetomol,so CBD was a great alternative to relieve our big boys pain.
We could clearly see the difference in how Tungston walks when he didnt receive the CBD drops from Buddy's pets (we ran out for a few days then quickly ordered more). The difference is so clear and we're so happy that we can give our doggo a safe product that will not damage his liver and can relieve his pain. Buddy's has a speedy delivery system and I cannot reccomend these products enough! We also use this to calm his nerves during thunderstorms.

Meet Themba. The almost 40kg dog Themba recently had an operation to repair the cruciate ligament in his knee. He needed to be caged for ten weeks while convalescing – a very stressful task made much much easier with Buddy’s Pets biscuits and CBD drops. These effective products allowed him to be gently sedated so that he could heal without too much stress and unhappiness – for both him and us! I cannot recommend Buddys Pets products highly enough.

Greetings Humans. We continue our CBD educational series as we move on to horses and recent research has uncovered that every animal, including horses, have an endocannabinoid system.

Furthermore, targeting this system can help with pain management treatment, stress treatment, and more.

Endocannabinoid receptors can be found in two central areas: the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. CBD interacts with these receptors in a unique and beneficial way.

CBD oil: What it is and how it works in animals.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of 2 major cannabinoids found in cannabis and h**p, 2 terms often used interchangeably. Humans, cats, and all mammals have an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that includes 2 receptors, CB1 and CB2. CB1 is found mainly in the central nervous system and CB2 mostly resides in the immune and digestive systems. Cannabinoids bind too and act on those receptors. Studies into CBD and how it affects those receptors to improve the body’s functionality and homeostasis are increasing in humans and in our pets.
