🌿 WSVK - Plant Care Guide 🌿

Here are the basic instructions for your new aquarium plants to ensure they thrive in your tank!

📍 GENERAL TIP: Always remove the rockwool from the roots before planting. Leaving it on can cause the roots to rot over time.

🌹 Echinodorus 'Rose' (Rose Sword)

Placement: Background or Centerpiece.

Feeding: Root Tabs are a MUST every 3–4 months.

CO2: Not required.

Tip: Do not bury the "crown" (where leaves meet roots) too deep; keep it just at the substrate surface.

🌳 Hygrophila corymbosa (Giant) & Polysperma

Placement: Background.

Feeding: Prefers Liquid Fertilizer added to the water.

CO2: Not required.

Tip: These are fast growers! Prune the tops regularly to keep them bushy and prevent them from blocking the light.

🔴 Alternanthera reineckii (Mini & Roseafolia)

Placement: Foreground to Mid-ground.

Feeding: Needs Iron and Root Tabs to maintain that deep red/purple color.

CO2: Optional, but highly recommended for the best color and growth.

🍋 Bacopa caroliniana (Lemon Bacopa)

Placement: Mid-ground (Great for vertical accents).

Feeding: Liquid Fertilizer.

CO2: Not required.

Tip: Very hardy. If you crush a leaf during planting, you'll notice a fresh citrus scent!

🌾 Eleocharis acicularis (Dwarf Hairgrass)

Placement: Foreground (Carpeting).

Feeding: Root Tabs help the runners spread faster.

CO2: Optional, but will carpet much quicker with CO2.
