🐘❤️ Special patient alert! ❤️🐘

We don’t often have elephants visiting the clinic… but when we do, they get the VIP treatment!

Three-year-old Jackson brought his beloved elephant teddy, Ellie, in for a check-up with Dr Eve. First, Ellie needed a little attention to her trunk, so Dr Eve worked her magic with a quick bandage and, just like that, it was healed in seconds! ✨

Next, Jackson got a behind-the-scenes look at how our ultrasound machine works. Together they scanned Ellie’s tummy and explored her abdominal organs (stuffing). 🩺🔍

We’re pleased to report that Ellie is in excellent health and received a clean bill of health from Dr Eve. 😊

Thank you, Jackson, for trusting us with such an important patient. We loved meeting Ellie! 💙

🐍 Snake Call-Out! 🐍

Emma-Lisa was called out to assist with a snake that had made itself quite comfortable under a customer’s oven! Once safely retrieved, it was identified as a Brown Water Snake.

Brown Water Snakes are completely harmless to people and pets. They are powerful constrictors that play an important role in the ecosystem by feeding on frogs, tadpoles, fish, and geckos.

If you come across a snake on your property, it’s always best to keep a safe distance and call a professional for identification and relocation.

Rocket has been our chief supervisor, professional troublemaker, and clinic queen for just over a year now, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way 💖
