Excited to announce a Forage & Feast: a Wild Mushroom Foraging & Cooking Workshop! We are so lucky to work with a talented forager who brings us all sorts of fun mushrooms to use in our dishes, and we had the fun idea of inviting our Meuse friends into the world of foraging + cooking with mushrooms as well. 🍄🟫
The morning will begin with the group meeting in a local forest near Meuse Farm to learn from our local forager, Christian, how to identify and forage for mushrooms. With this small group of only 16, he will be able to help everyone distinguish between different types and safely select those good for consumption.
After foraging, the group will return to Meuse for a cooking demo with , where guests will learn how to prep, store, and cook the foraged wild mushrooms.
The workshop will move into a relaxed harvest lunch, where guests will gather around our communal table for a wild mushroom-focused meal highlighting the delicious seasonality of these foraged mushrooms.
