We are an agroecological farm on the outskirts of Cape Town. We are an agroecological farm on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa.

Spring 2017 will be our first season farming a quarter hectare of specialty crops for the high end restaurant market and culturally relevant crops for the Hout Bay township communities. 🌼SEPTEMBER DINING AT MEUSE FARM🌼
This month, caidi_kennedy_chef will be launching our new ‘The Longhouse at Meuse’ 3-course dining experience with special, additional wine pairings. If you’ve been to our Beyond the Bottle wine series or our 3-course seasonal meals, you can expect a familiar format that we’ve all grown to love— and of course, with a delicious Spring menu inspired by what is growing on the farm now.

We will also be continuing our other new, weekly dining experience, Gather, where we’ve simplified the experience to let our guests self-serve plates from a seasonal spread and then enjoy the evening at the farm in a laid-back environment.

We’re looking for someone who:
→ Has 2+ years of bartending experience
→ Knows their way around cocktails, wine, & spirits
→ Is confident in a busy service environment
→ Is warm, capable, & guest-focused
→ Takes initiative and works well within a team
→ Has availability for week days, evenings & weekends
→ Loves good food, good drinks, & hospitality

Our chef team always has to keep their focus on the farm and what is growing freshest here at that point in time. This means our menu changes frequently, reflecting the changes of the seasons and land. OPEN DAYS AT MEUSE FARM 🥕

Mark your calendars, because we’ve chosen the season’s dates for Open Days! We’re excited to have everyone back on the farm with us. We’re dreaming up more workshops, more kid activities, delicious farm foods, and opportunities for you to hang out with us during Saturdays around the farm.

Announcing next month’s dates of our community-centred Gather meals at Meuse Farm! 🌱 A new weekly meal every Wednesday for our community to spend time on the farm.

For lunch, enjoy a flexible arrival time between 12-3pm, and for dinner, come anytime between 5 and 8pm. Serve yourself from our harvest buffet, choose your plate size, and settle in around the Longhouse or farm. Bring friends or even come alone for a relaxing night with a book and sunset views.

Vegetarian and meat mains, seasonal vegetables and grains, Adri bread with Cream of the Crop Micro Dairy butter, farm pickles, salad. All based around what’s fresh that week. Drinks and desserts available to add on. Kids are very welcome to join 🥕

We can feel things slowly changing and the seasons creeping closer to Spring! Farmer Carol has been helping us prep for the transition in the greenhouse, and we’re excited to start getting everything ready for growth. 🌱

Our Gather dinner launch was such a joyful night on the farm. Here’s a few snippets of the night to show you what to expect of these upcoming Gather meals.

We’d love to invite you to join us for one in the future. It’s a casual weeknight meal with a farm harvest self-serve buffet at R250 for a large plate/ R150 for a small plate, and it’s a time to be able to enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing at our Longhouse with friends.
