Punishment isn’t an effective training tool.

Sadly, the human brain is predisposed to noticing unwanted behaviours and punishing them. We notice the dog barking and we shout - it’s automatic, and the chances of the dog learning NOT to bark are minimal.

It’s when we start noticing and rewarding the moments where they’re quiet that real learning can take place, creating a foundation of trust, confidence & understanding in the dog that we can build on 🐕 🐾 ♥️

Often, when your dog is giving you trouble, it’s because they’re having trouble with something themselves. Helping them ultimately helps you ♥️ 🐾
