We should all be talking about pangolins more! Here's why:

Pangolins are considered the most trafficked wild mammals in the world: an estimated 200,000 are taken from the wild every year. They're quietly disappearing before many people have even heard of them.

The more we talk about pangolins, the more awareness we raise, human behaviors we help change, and momentum we create for their protection. πŸ’š

Pangolins are a testament to nature's gentle power, their curious features captivating hearts. Ants and termites, however, see them as a force to be reckoned with. 🐜 Their unique diet has fueled extraordinary adaptations, from shovel-like claws that dig into mounds to serpentine tongues that sn**ch unsuspecting insects. A single pangolin can make a significant impact on an insect colony.

This Saturday, bask in happiness like a pangolin rolling in mud πŸ˜‚. That's Not a Pinecone, It's a Pangolin – Cutest Mud Bath Ever! They often take mud or dung baths with sheer joy, rolling around and utilizing this behavior as a defense mechanism.

In case you are still wondering about the difference between African pangolins and Asian pangolins.

If you look closely, you'll see that this pangolin has small white hairs between its scales. All four of the Asian pangolin species have these hairs, whilst none of the African species do, so this is a simple way to tell them apart!

The future of wildlife is in our hands.

The future of pangolins is in our hands.

Join the fight to save the pangolins.
