☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER IS ON THE WAY! KEEP YOUR PETS COOL & SAFE! 🐶🐱

Summer is coming, and while we may enjoy the sunshine, the heat can be dangerous for our furry friends! ❤️

Here are a few simple tips to keep your pets happy and comfortable during the hot days:

💧 Fresh water, always! Make sure your pets have access to clean, cool drinking water throughout the day.

🌳 Find the shade! Provide a cool, shaded area where your pets can rest, away from direct sunlight.

🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car! Temperatures inside a vehicle can rise dangerously quickly, even with the windows slightly open.

🐕 Walk at the right time! Exercise your dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler. Test the pavement with your hand to protect their paws.

🧊 Help them cool down! Cooling mats, cool tiles, damp towels and shallow paddling pools can help your pets stay comfortable.

🐱 Don’t forget the cats! Our feline friends also need fresh water, cool resting spots and plenty of shade.

⚠️ Know the warning signs! Excessive panting, heavy drooling, weakness, vomiting or collapse can indicate heatstroke. Move your pet to a cooler area and contact a veterinarian immediately. Heatstroke is an emergency!

❤️ A little extra care can make a BIG difference!
