🐾👑 MEET THE KINGS OF CLUTCHING… ASPEN & COOPER! 👑🐾

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present my two gorgeous Golden Cocker Spaniel regulars, Aspen and Cooper! ❤️❤️
Now, these two have perfected the fine art of sleeping, they are fine tuned experts!
P.S. In case you didn't know, 'clutching' means to nod off!
They do enjoy a little garden exploring, of course. One must occasionally inspect the property, sniff a few important things and check that the grass is still growing. 🌿🐾 BUT let's not get carried away, people! There's a snooze schedule to maintain!
Aspen is my slightly nervous little Velcro boy. Wherever I go, there he is… attached to my body like he's been fitted with an invisible seatbelt! ❤️🥹 Don't move too quickly, Aunty Dee… your shadow has feelings!
Cooper, on the other hand, has his priorities sorted. BELLY RUBS, PLEASE! And if you think you're going to stop before he's satisfied, think again! That belly didn't rub itself, you know Dee! For heavens sake get a grip! 😂😂
Now, telling these two apart at first can be a bit of a challenge. Two gorgeous golden faces, four paws each and enough fluff to start a small pillow factory! BUT Aspen has a secret giveaway… he LOVES carrying his blanket around! 🥰 So if you spot a little golden gentleman parading about with his bedding, you've found Aspen!
I have a particularly soft spot for these beautiful dogs because we had a Golden Cocker Spaniel when I was a child. ❤️ Some breeds just find their way into your heart and settle in permanently.
Aspen and Cooper, you gorgeous, sleepy, cuddly little legends… Aunty Dee is absolutely smitten! 😘❤️

🌱 The Great Marmite Incident - sadly....a true story!

Mim phoned me: “Do you want to come to Jenny Dean’s Indigenous Nursery? I’ve got some seeds for Jen to identify.”

So off we tootled. 🌱

Mim produced an empty Marmite bottle containing her mystery seeds. Jen tipped it onto her hand in front of a few interested customers…

…and out came....a blob of Marmite. 😂

Without missing a beat, Jen looked at Mim and said, completely straight-faced:

“I’m sorry to tell you, Mim… but Marmite won’t grow.” 🤣🤣🤣

Mim nearly died, she brought the wrong bottle. The customers packed up laughing!!

And somewhere, three empty bottles and a spade are still waiting for their moment in horticultural history. 😂🌱

Moral of the story: Always label your seeds. And NEVER trust Marmite.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AUNTY DEE...
People often ask me, "So... do the dogs all behave?"
🤣🤣🤣
Well...
1. Connor sleeps like he's just finished a 12-hour shift... then the second he's had a dump, he tears around the garden like he's just escaped from prison!
2. The Daxie Gang (Diesel, Brutus, Sno & Amber-Lee) are four little sausages with one shared brain cell... and they're determined to use it for mischief! P.S. Sno’s little legs just finish me!
3. Gunner's life philosophy is simple: If it's there... chew it! Toys, sticks, leaves... give him five minutes and he'll probably have a go at the moon.
4. Then there's Trapper. Officially a mixed breed... unofficially I'm convinced he sneaked out of a Belgian Malinois family. Clever as 007, smoother than Rama, and always one step ahead of me!

Look after your Little legends and Large lovables....
Stay for the day...
Stay for a vacay.....
But don't stay away 🤠
Be there, or be square 😘
