🌱 The Great Marmite Incident - sadly....a true story!
Mim phoned me: “Do you want to come to Jenny Dean’s Indigenous Nursery? I’ve got some seeds for Jen to identify.”
So off we tootled. 🌱
Mim produced an empty Marmite bottle containing her mystery seeds. Jen tipped it onto her hand in front of a few interested customers…
…and out came....a blob of Marmite. 😂
Without missing a beat, Jen looked at Mim and said, completely straight-faced:
“I’m sorry to tell you, Mim… but Marmite won’t grow.” 🤣🤣🤣
Mim nearly died, she brought the wrong bottle. The customers packed up laughing!!
And somewhere, three empty bottles and a spade are still waiting for their moment in horticultural history. 😂🌱
Moral of the story: Always label your seeds. And NEVER trust Marmite.
