Our operating hours are as follows:
🐾 We will be open on Saturday, 25 April
🐾 As you can see from our picture, Dr Cruiser and Dr Kleinhans will be on duty this weekend — rocking their matching outfits! 😎👕

🚪 We will be closed on Monday, 27 April in observance of Freedom Day

Good Afternoon Everyone ☀️

With the recent increase in Canine Parvovirus (Parvo) and Canine Distemper cases in town, we would like to raise awareness about these serious and highly contagious diseases affecting our dogs.

Both Parvo and Distemper can be life-threatening, especially in unvaccinated puppies and dogs. The good news is that prevention through proper vaccination is the most effective protection.

We strongly encourage all pet owners to ensure their pets’ vaccinations are up to date and to avoid contact with potentially infected animals or environments.

We hope your Monday is off to a pawsome start! 🐾

Just a quick announcement — as you may have seen from our photo, old dogs can definitely learn new tricks 😄😉

We’re currently busy switching over to a brand-new veterinary system (very fancy, we know 💻✨).
While our reception team and vets are getting the hang of things, we kindly ask for a little extra patience during this transition.

There might be a few “learning moments” along the way, but we promise we’re working hard to make everything smoother and better for you and your furry family members 🐶🐱

Good Morning Everyone!

After a long and very hot week, we’re all feeling a bit like Dr Cruiser over here…

Fingers crossed for lots of rain! 🌧️
As you can see, Dr Cruiser has had a busy week filled with consultations and surgeries, so he definitely deserves some time off.

Our vet on duty this weekend will be Dr Strydom.
We will be open on Saturday, 7 February, from 9:00 to 12:00.

Please remember that after business hours, any emergencies will only be attended to via our after-hours number: 082 883 7683.
WhatsApp messages and calls are not monitored during this time.

Just a final reminder that our price increase takes effect from Monday, 9 February.
This applies only to consultations, procedures, and surcharges.

Happy Fri-yay everyone! 🌟

Unfortunately, it’s that time of the year again – the part we all don’t enjoy… the dreaded price increase. Like everything else, inflation is no one’s friend.

We will be implementing a slight price increase, however this will not affect our front shop items such as food, merchandise, and medication.

The increase will take effect on 9 February 2026.
We truly appreciate your continued love, support, and loyalty to CVC.

In other news:
Dr Kleinhans will be on duty this weekend 🐾
A friendly reminder that we are open from 9am to 12pm on Saturdays, and will be on call for any emergencies after business hours.
