We’ll do the running… will you help make every kilometre count? 🏃🐾

Twenty-six runners from the Cottage Vet team and community are taking on the Winelands Marathon’s 10 km and 21 km events. Together, we’ll cover 414 kilometres to raise funds for a community spay day for pets whose owners cannot afford sterilisation.

Our K’s for Spays goal? Sponsor every kilometre and raise R41,400!

🐾 Half a K = R50
🐾 One K = R100
🐾 Feeling generous? Sponsor several K’s or a runner’s full distance!
For every 0.5km you sponsor, you will get one entry into the LUCKY DRAW for some FANTASTIC PRIZES.

Your contribution will help cover the supplies, medication and other costs needed to sterilise animals in need—preventing unwanted litters and supporting healthier pets in our community.

No running shoes required. Just a little kindness. 💙

🐾 A few weeks ago, we shared Dr. Obey’s story and asked our community to help this determined young veterinarian take the next step towards practising independently in South Africa.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who has donated and shared his story, we’ve now raised more than 50% of the funds needed for Dr. Obey’s SAVC registration examinations.
