If you've ever taken a trip down the South Coast you would have quickly realized what a close knit community we all are. We are known for our beautiful coastline, our very talented young surfers as well as many other things!! It's with that statement that I think of Mahatma Gandhi's great quote... "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.."

After more than 45 years devoted to animal rescue, Amanzimtoti community stalwart Pam Hay, is appealing for help to raise funds for a life-saving heart valve replacement surgery.

Meet Carlyn Kim Berry Hattingh and her husband Simon, who are our CROW depot in Amanzimtoti. A HUGE thank you goes out to Carlyn and Simon for all the work they do. Whether it's early morning phone calls or rushing out in the evening to lend a hand, it is great to have such dedicated and passionate people on our team. Our depots form part of the CROW family - we couldn't do what we do without them.

Thank you so much for your support of our beautiful SPCA. You have been with us through the valleys and on the mountain tops. We know the last few years have been very difficult for everyone. We truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

At the moment we are asking for pellets and soft food for puppies. We are sadly very low on these items!!! If you cannot come through to donate please do an EFT.
