A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Chris & Jack, of the Midlands team, for completing their 50th visit.
Jack just loves absolutely everyone he meets, especially if they give him belly rubs. (Jack is the dog of course😁)

Angie Thornton, one of the founder members of Angel Paws Therapy Dogs, has just turned 80 years old. Members (and their dogs) of Midlands, Coastal and the Western Cape celebrated in style at Piggly Wiggly - Midlands yesterday.
Angie is a legend in therapy dog work in South Africa, and we are incredibly grateful to her and Colin for their ongoing support of our NPO. Angie works tirelessly, and her commitment is unquestionable. She is an inspiration to us all.
In this lovely picture, her own two therapy dogs, Bailey and Tickle, are cheering her on.
Happy Birthday, Angie, from all of us at AP!

Emeris (previously Varsity) College Pmb invited our dogs, to participate in their Mental Health Awareness Day
Here's the feedback from Sonya Nursoo (Student Wellness Specialist)
"Attached are a few pics of the wonderful time Angel Paws spent with us . I am not sure what feedback you received from the team but all the representatives /ladies from Angel Paws were great, and our canine visitors were such a hit with the students. It was wonderful seeing students relax and engage with the dogs . All in all, a real success"

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
When we heard of the increase in suicides, due to stress, by police officers, we offered to visit Howick Police Station with our dogs, and w/o Taylor was happy to welcome us.
Initially many were fearful of our dogs, but thankfully, we've gradually broken down barriers since we started visiting .
Our dogs are wonderful, no matter the situation.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month
One of our regular visits is to help the patients at Oatlands. We don't take pictures, to protect patient confidentiality, but our dogs really do make a difference
