SHARED FROM A CAT RESCUE WHO LIKE OTHERS, ARE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS ..... NEUTER YOUR CATS BEFORE ALLOWING OUTSIDE. ✨

Specifically, if you’re repeatedly breeding your female cat because you’ve realised you can sell her kittens for a few hundred quid a pop… Get a job. Leave her uterus alone.

Your cat is not
❌ A cash machine with whiskers
❌ Your second income
❌ A kitten production line
❌ Responsible for paying your Klarna

And no, she does not need the 'experience' of motherhood. She’s not going to gaze wistfully out of the window at 47 thinking, 'God, I really regret never having children.'

Meanwhile, rescues are absolutely drowning in unwanted cats and kittens while Brenda down the road is firing out Litter Number Five because 'they sell really well.' Fantastic. Nothing screams responsible pet ownership quite like monetising your cat’s reproductive system. And then, when she needs an emergency C section, develops complications, stops feeding the kittens or you discover that eight kittens actually 💩 quite a lot, suddenly it’s; 'Can a rescue take them? "It’s urgent" Oh, now we're involved.

If your business model requires your cat to repeatedly give birth, you don’t have a business. You have an exploited cat.

Spay your females. Castrate your males. Stop deliberately creating more animals when rescues are already bursting at the seams. Your cat deserves to be a pet, not a payslip.

Why Do We Still Have To Say This? 🫠🐈
