Cherry sauce on your burger? Chef Patso Nikolov says yes. 🍒

Chef Patso Nikolov is coming from Bloemfontein to cook with us at the Constantia Cherry Country Festival on Saturday, 14 November.

From 11:00 he is doing a live cooking demonstration, showing you how far a cherry can actually go. Think cherry sauce on your braai burger instead of the usual tomato. He will also be cooking and selling cherry dishes on the day.

The cooking demonstration is part of the R380 main show ticket, together with the fashion parade and Willem Botha live.

Entry to the festival is free. Come for the day, book a seat for the shows.

Verjaarsdae proe net beter met tuisgebakte kersiebeskuit 🍒

Ons het vandag Ilze se verjaarsdag gevier onder die lapa, met koffie en ‘n pak van ons eie kersiebeskuit, vars gebak in ons kombuis hier op die plaas. Baie geluk, Ilze! Mag jou nuwe jaar wonderlik en geseënd wees 💛

Soek jy ‘n geskenk wat van die hart af kom? Ons kersie-karringmelkbeskuit en kersie-mueslibeskuit is mooi verpak en reg om iemand te bederf. Kom maak ‘n draai by die padstal of gaan aanlyn en kies jou gunsteling.

The Constantia Cherry Country Festival is on Saturday, 14 November, and the gates will be open from 08:00 for everyone, free of charge.

Bring the kids. There's a bike race, a puppet show, a magic show, pony rides, putt-putt, a jumping castle, stalls full of food and crafts, and fresh cherries by the boxful. 🎪

Van blommetjie tot kersie 🌸🍒

Ons bome staan nou in volle blom... en as jy mooi kyk, sien jy die eerste klein kersies wat al vorm. Oor 'n paar weke is hulle diep rooi en sappig.

Het jy geweet Constantia is een van die oudste kersieplase in die Oos-Vrystaat? Ons eerste kersies is in 1953 aangeplant. 🍒
