Today we celebrate our wonderful Sr Lize Van Huyssteen! 💙

Behind every patient we care for, there’s so much that happens behind the scenes. From assisting in theatre and caring for our hospitalized patients to comforting nervous pets, giving extra cuddles and helping our vets, our vet nurses play such an important role in our hospital.

Thank you Sr Lize for your dedication, patience and compassion and for all the little things you do every day to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Today we celebrate you and the heart you put into what you do.

Today we say goodbye to our dear Anthia.

Since joining the Ceres Animal Hospital family in 2018, Anthia has become such a familiar and special part of our everyday team. Over the years, she has shared in the busy days, the long days, the laughs, the challenges, the unexpected moments and of course countless memories that we will carry with us.

Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when someone has been part of the team for so many years.
Thank you Anthia, for everything you have contributed to our team and for the role you have played in making Ceres Animal Hospital what it is.

As you start this new chapter, we hope it brings you exciting opportunities, growth, happiness and many reasons to look back with a smile. While we are sad to see you leave, we are also excited to see what the future holds for you. You will be missed around the hospital.

HERITAGE DAY CLOSURE 🇿🇦

Please note that we will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 24 September, in celebration of Heritage Day.

Our friendly faces will be welcoming you back on Friday, 25 September and we’ll be ready to assist you and your pets.

One year in our new space. 🐾

And if there's one thing this past year has reminded us, it's that a building is just a building without the people who bring it to life.

These people! Our team.
The ones who show up, put in the work, care for our patients and clients and make Ceres Veterinary Hospital what it is.

One year later, we're still so grateful for this space, but even more grateful for the people in it.
