Did you know that ear infections are one of the most common problems dogs can experience? 🐶👂

Here are a few signs every pet parent should look out for:

🐾 Frequent head shaking
🐾 Scratching or rubbing the ears
🐾 Redness or swelling
🐾 Unpleasant smell coming from the ear
🐾 Dark or unusual discharge
🐾 Sensitivity or discomfort when the ears are touched

💡 FUN FACT: Dogs with floppy ears or lots of hair around their ears can be more prone to ear problems because moisture and warmth can get trapped inside. 💕

🛁 At Pika’s Pets, we always keep an eye on your fur baby’s ears during grooming and can let you know if we notice anything unusual.

⚠️ Important: Grooming can help keep the ears clean, but a suspected ear infection needs to be assessed and treated by a veterinarian. Never put medication or cleaning products into an irritated ear unless your vet recommends it.
