Animal health, human health and environmental health are closely connected.
Veterinary and para-veterinary professionals play an important role in One Health, through disease surveillance, prevention, biosecurity, food safety, research and animal care.

From animal health technicians in the field to veterinary technologists in the laboratory, and veterinarians, veterinary nurses, veterinary physiotherapists and laboratory animal technologists in their respective fields, each profession contributes to this shared health system.

Protecting animal health also helps protect people and our environment.
