English Cocker Spaniel or American Cocker Spaniel? 🐶

They share that sweet spaniel charm, but they do have some noticeable differences. English Cockers often look a little taller and sportier, while American Cockers usually have a rounder head, a more compact build, and a fuller coat.

Both can make wonderful companions, and both are known for being cheerful and affectionate.

🐾 A Message to Fellow Breeders 🐾

Being a breeder is not about being better than someone else. It is about responsibility, knowledge, honesty, and putting the welfare of our dogs and puppies first.

Before criticizing another breeder, remember that none of us is perfect. We should be willing to learn, improve, and accept constructive criticism ourselves.

Responsible breeding means:
❤️ Prioritising the health and welfare of the dogs
🐾 Breeding responsibly, not simply for profit
🩺 Providing proper veterinary care and health checks
🏡 Ensuring puppies go to suitable, loving homes
📋 Being honest with buyers about the puppies and parents
🤝 Treating other breeders and puppy owners with respect
🙏 Taking responsibility for our own actions and mistakes

Tearing another breeder down does not make you a better breeder. Your actions, ethics, and the care you provide to your animals speak louder than criticism ever will.

And remember: Be careful when you judge others — none of us is above making mistakes, and none of us is above needing grace.

Stay humble.

Responsible breeding is not about being perfect — it is about doing better and doing right by the animals in our care.

Sometimes a new Cocker enters your life when your heart is finally ready to love again. 🐾🌈 They could never replace the one you lost, but somehow they help your heart find another reason to smile. The love you had before doesn't disappear when you welcome another dog. It simply makes room for a new chapter while keeping the old one forever. ❤️
