67 MINUTES OF IMPACT ❤️🇿🇦
This Mandela Day, Whisker Warrior Foundation had the privilege of joining forces with African Grass Root Hoops and Yuri Arcurs Productions to spend an afternoon giving back to 67 young sports leaders from the Gugulethu community.
We came together with a simple purpose — to remind these young leaders that they are seen, valued and supported. Through generous donations, we were able to provide each of them with a book, a hot dog and a dignity pack, containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, cloth and sanitary products for the young women.
We spent the afternoon at Lumkile Book Joint, sharing stories, reading together, laughing and connecting. It was so much more than simply giving out items — it was about creating a moment of encouragement, connection and hope.
At Whisker Warrior Foundation, we believe that real change starts within our communities. It starts by showing up, giving our time, investing in our youth and reminding them that their dreams are worth pursuing and that they have the power to become leaders and create change themselves.
