🤍 50 RAND WEDNESDAY | BARNABY’S STORY 🐾
Oh, Barnaby. 💔 If only we knew what your tired, old body had been through.
Found dumped along a quiet farm road near Hopefield, this sweet old boy was weak, struggling to breathe, desperately hungry and covered in ticks and fleas. At the vet, we discovered multiple old fractures and extensive injuries. His little body had endured too much, and the kindest thing we could do was let him go peacefully.
We’ll never know how long he suffered before he was left behind. 💔
But for a little while, Barnaby, you were safe. You had a full tummy, a warm place to rest, gentle hands to care for you and people who loved you. We couldn’t give you the happy ending you deserved, but we could give you kindness, comfort and a peaceful goodbye. 🤍
This is the heartbreaking reality of rescue. Sometimes, we cannot save a life, but even when an animal cannot be saved, the veterinary bills remain.
This , please help us cover Barnaby’s vet costs so we can continue showing up for the animals who need us.
Run free, sweet boy. No more pain, no more hunger. Just peace. 🌈
You mattered, Barnaby. You always deserved love, and we hope you felt some of it before you said goodbye. 🤍🐾
