Bergzicht Animal Hospital is getting ready to refresh our back windows, and we want your pet to be featured! 🐾

How to Enter: 📸 Email us your best high-resolution photo of your pet to [email protected] by 24 August 2026.

🏆 The Bergzicht Animal Hospital team will select the top 10 finalists.

Voting: 🗳️ The finalists' photos will be posted on our page by 1 September 2026. Voting will be open to everyone, and will end on 13 September 2026. Don’t forget to share the post with friends and family to gather support for your pet's photo!

Prizes: 🥇Thanks to Elanco the top three winners will receive a professional photoshoot for their pet by Shuttermutts Pet Photography.

Terms & Conditions: By entering, you grant Bergzicht Animal Hospital the right to use the photos from the shoot for our windows and other marketing purposes.

🐾 Is your senior dog slowing down… or could they be in pain? 💙

Keep an eye out for signs like:
🐶 Struggling to get up after resting
🐶 Hesitating to jump into the car or onto the couch
🐶 Walking more slowly or tiring easily
🐶 Sleeping more than usual
🐶 Becoming grumpy or avoiding being touched
🐶 Slipping on smooth floors
🐶 Licking painful joints
🐶 No longer enjoying walks or playtime

It’s easy to assume these changes are “just old age,” but chronic pain from arthritis is very common—and thankfully, it can often be managed successfully.

A pain-free dog is a happier dog. ❤️
