🚫🐰 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐘 🐰🚫
This is currently being advertised as a “large indoor rabbit cage.” on Facebook market place.
And while it may seem suitable at first glance, it doesn’t fully meet a rabbit’s needs, infact it is cruel!

📢 “Extra large”
📢 “Plenty of room”
📢 “Perfect for rabbits”
➡️ These phrases can make it seem like this is enough
➡️ But rabbits actually need much more space than most people realise
🐰 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄
✔️ A minimum space of around 3m x 3m
✔️ Ideally indoor living where they’re safe and part of the home
✔️ Or a secure outdoor enclosure protected from predators
(🐱 cats, 🦉 owls, and others)
✔️ Space to run, hop, stretch, and stand fully upright
💡 Rabbits are active animals, they’re not designed to live in cages.
🐰 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃
✔️ Soft, safe flooring (no wire floors)
✔️ Enrichment, toys, and interaction
✔️ Daily movement and mental stimulation
✔️ The freedom to express natural behaviours

Limited space doesn’t just restrict movement,
it can impact a rabbit’s physical health, mental wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
