Yesterday was one of the saddest days. I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Princess Peyton.
She was the reason I started ❤️Love Your Dog collars, after she got lost on the Boyes Drive mountain trail.
She has sat at my feet, listening to the rhythm of my sewing machine as I have made 1000’s of collars. I think she secretly loved it that I had a business that kept me home a great deal of the time, but she also loved the adventures and all the car rides to deliver and do the daily Pudo run.
Ours hearts are shattered in a million pieces.

Winter has truly set in, and while most of us are bundled up indoors, some dogs are facing the rain, wind, and bitter cold with no shelter at all.

Right now, we urgently need kennels for dogs in need — something to shield them from the worst of the Cape Town winter.

If you have an unused kennel gathering dust in your yard or garage, please consider donating it. You could be giving a dog the warmth and safety they so desperately need.

📍Drop-offs are preferred and can be made at the TEARS Shelter in Sunnydale, Fish Hoek.
🚐 Collection is possible, depending on where you are in Cape Town — please reach out and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Every kennel can mean the difference between suffering and safety this winter. 💛
