V2 egg Incubator build

06/09/2026

V2 Incubator build:

Let’s start mentioning a few upgrades:

Previously we had the water tray below the egg tray and this elevated the eggs off the base, We have now dropped the egg tray too the base, making it safer for our chicks too not be on the same level as the light.

We built a separate water tanker, which makes us able too fill water from the outside.

We also sealed the top completely, no heavy loss of heat and humidity, we instead built a smaller side door for handling the eggs.

We also fixed the hygrometer and no wires loosely laying on the egg tray

Our next eggs too hatch will be Dongxiang, button and jumbo quail.
