Tipi
These beautiful boy arrived at TUFCAT on his own. For months no one could get near him. But then one day he decided we were ok and now he is the most loving cat. All the volunteers and guests adore him.

Mom dog and pups are doing very well. They come from the same home as the burnt cat. Their owner was concerned that the same person could hurt them so he brought them to us.

The past few weeks have been hectically busy. Its kitten season and everyone is feeling the impact. We keep sterilizing where and whenever we can. Thanks to the wonderful National Sterilization Project we were able to prevent some births. We could not do it without your support and we are extremely grateful for your help.

We have a dream...
It's a big one but it can change everything.
We are looking to set up a shop at the sanctuary to sustain us. But we need a suitable structure. It's going to cost but it will pay in the end.
Anyone have any ideas or contacts?
A container would be perfect.

Kitty has been to the vet. She is receiving treatment and is on pain meds. So grateful we could help this girl....

We found her!
Taking to the vet asap as her wounds are really bad. Will post anotger update later.

Update
Things are not working out as planned. We have been back and forth and cannot find the cat. Unfortunately the kitten is also missing. We were there after the owner finished work last night and have been searching all morning. We entered every single shack - even got the keys from people not at home. No sign of the cat. She is old. He has had her for 10 years. We have offered a reward to find her. We are utterly devastated but will not give up. We will post updates as soon as we have any.

We are busy with this case. She has kittens as well..we will update asap. Be assured we are doing all we can. Thank you to everyone who offered help. We will be in touch.

ANIMAL CRUELTY

Distressing images...😭😢

The cruelty perpetuated by some humans is totally unacceptable. Just got word that this cat had boring water thrown on her. She's in the Rooidakke township in Grabouw. We are going to fetch her and take her to the vet. Can anyone help to sponsor her treatment please?

We deal with this quite a lot. Its always women who do this. They control the family's food supply and when hungry animals come for some, this is what happens.

Ill update as soon as we have more information.

WA 082 433 0932 if you can help in any way. Thanks

CHARITY BOOKSALE UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who donated books for the charity booksale. We managed to do ok and bought cat food with the proceeds.

Special thank you to Christina Maicu who collected for us and delivered masses of really good books to UWC. Thank you also to Riekie Wandrag, Caryn Allan and Sandra van Reenen. There are still a few people waiting for us to collect and I truly apologize for this....we were totally overwhelmed by the response.

I still need to collect in Milnerton and Kuils River, so if anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
