After the Cape Town wind tried to blow us away yesterday, we woke up to the most gorgeous summer style day!

The sun is out, the skies are blue and the little pools have been filled for our rescues to enjoy.

So if you around today and have some free time...please pop in and come say hello. Our dogs would love a visit, while MOLLY over here promises to keep you throughly entertained as she runs around after her tyre 😁 The kennels are open from 9-1 and 2-4. Malmesbury Animal Hospital Group will be visiting the kennels!

During the visit, each of our 40 plus rescues will receive their annual vaccination and rabies jabs. Aswell as a full general health check, from teeth to tail 😁to make sure they are all healthy, happy and receiving the best care we can give them.

Total cost per dog is R298.

But lets look at it like this.
R5 + R5 + R5...and before you know it, a rescue is sponsored. So please never think your contribution is 'too small' every bit adds up in the biggest way! ###

Monday morning motivation from LILLO.

She’s always wanting to be close. So wanting to love you. Forever and always. And she'd really enjoy a calm, male companion to learn from as she settles into her new forever after. Someone gentle to show her the ropes.

OUR HEARTS ARE FULL! ❤️

We honestly don’t quite know how to say thank you enough to the Margot Picard Trust, and trustees Johnny Heuer and Josie Norfolk, for once again showing such incredible support for our rescue dogs. A huge thank you as well to Donna Heuer for helping to make this very generous donation happen.

We were absolutely blown away to receive 40 x 40kg bags of Monty & Me Adult food, 20 x 25kg bags of Monty & Me Puppy food, 300 tins of food and 50 lovely fleece blankets! With all the new puppies currently coming into our care, the puppy food especially could not have arrived at a better time.

When you have so many dogs relying on you every single day, donations like this really do mean the world. It takes a huge amount to keep everyone fed, warm, comfortable and cared for, so support like this takes such a weight off our shoulders and helps us keep doing what we love most - giving these dogs the care, love and second chances they deserve.
