Hi everyone, I'm Tam! Below are a few recent reviews from happy clients! I offer loving, reliable house and pet sitting and work remotely, so your pets have plenty of company while you're away.🌿🐾

Whether they enjoy long walks, sunny snoozes, endless cuddles or need a little extra care, they'll be treated as if they were my own. I'm also happy to help with special needs and medication while I pet sit.

🔥🐾 THE BOYS ARE BACK! 🐾🔥

Meet “The Boys” — two very handsome, very grown-up gentlemen who have once again had me wrapped around their paws! 😻

This was my second pet & house sit for them in just a couple of months, and their beautiful mountain home is the perfect place to spend a winter pet sit — cold mornings, a blazing fire and two very content cats snoozing in front of it. 🥰🔥

Our days included early-morning romps, plenty of playtime and some wonderfully cheap entertainment! 🪶😹 Feathers collected outside, hair bands, bits of string and used toilet rolls filled with hidden treats provided hours of fun.

Honestly, you’d be amazed at how much enrichment you can create with things you already have lying around the house — no fancy toys required! ❤️

And after all that excitement? A warm fire and a chair each, naturally. 😴🔥🐈🐈

I’m available for short- and long-term pet & house sits, and I’m happy to travel to outlying areas and anywhere across the Cape Peninsula. 🌿🏡

Claremont Village

I'm so grateful for reviews like this. 💚

One of the best parts of house and pet sitting is earning the trust of both the pets and their people. Every home is different, every pet has their own personality (and quirks!), and I treat each one as if they were my own.

Caitlyn, thank you so much for this wonderful review—it truly means the world to me.

"Tam looked after our dogs and cat and the in-laws' dogs for us this last week. They're quite the handful with very exacting needs and she handled all of them like an absolute pro!! Even managed to clean some gunk out of a very skittish 13-year-old miniature Schnauzer's eyes! Can highly recommend her if you want to be able to leave your pets (and house) with someone without stressing about them being looked after (sometimes better than you do)! Thanks Tam 🤗"

Some cats take a little longer to decide whether you're worthy... 🐱💛

Basie wasn't too sure about this stranger at first and kept a watchful eye on me from the windowsill. But before long, curiosity turned into friendship, and my little supervisor traded the windowsill for sunny brush sessions and cosy cuddles by my side.

Winning over a cautious kitty is always such a special feeling. Thank you, Basie, for trusting me. 🐾☀️

Pet-sitting in Kenilworth 🐾

I spent the afternoon sitting outside with the most gentle five-year-old pit bull I’ve ever met — a true soft soul wrapped in a very strong body.

Her main activity of the day? A very serious, very committed relationship with a piece of wood. Nothing else mattered. Not me, not the scenery… just the stick. 🪵

Gentle giant energy at its finest.

Sunrise in Sea Point 🌅

While pet-sitting, I was greeted by two very different personalities and one perfect morning. Zebra and Elbows keeping me company as the city slowly wakes up, perched on the rooftop like they own the view 🐾

Quiet, golden light… and two kitties posing like it was planned all along.

One of the best parts of house and pet sitting during winter is having a couple of furry hot-water bottles to keep you company. 🐾❄️

This photo was taken during a recent house sit in Burgundy Estate. As the temperatures dropped outside, a very content kitty and a sweet Scottish Terrier mix decided that the warmest place to be was curled up on top of me on the couch. 🐱🐶❤️

Moments like these are a reminder that pets don't just need feeding and walking when their humans are away — they also need companionship, comfort, routine, and plenty of love.

It's such a privilege to earn their trust and become their temporary human for a little while.

I'm available for both short- and long-term house and pet sits throughout Cape Town and surrounding areas.

One of the things I love most about house and pet sitting is getting to spend time with wonderful animals in beautiful surroundings. 🐾💚

I've just completed a 10-day pet sit in Stellenbosch, caring for three gorgeous woofies: Bubbles, Skye and Tory.

One of our favourite daily adventures was taking long walks through the vineyards, and this video captures a little glimpse of that. It was such a pleasure spending time with these three, and I'll miss them dearly.

A huge thank you to their owners for trusting me with their home and beloved pets.

If you're looking for someone caring, reliable, and experienced to look after your home and fur babies while you're away, I'm available for both short- and long-term house and pet sits throughout Cape Town and surrounding areas.

Feel free to get in touch 😊🐶🐱
