We are running low on newspapers for our patients and would greatly appreciate any donations.

If you have old newspapers at home, please drop them off at Reception at the Noordhoek Garden Emporium.

Lachlan gave me a real scare yesterday. Like many days when mom comes home from work we get a bit excited.

Well in his happiness to get to the back yard to fetch his toy ....we ran into the wall. Mom hear a sounds of crying puppy and went into full panic mode. After rushing to vet and having full exam and him now running on all legs he is okay....was just a muscle injury and he back to his normal self.

was excellent in dealing with very stressed dog mom in full panic mode.

We treated the team to a few pizzas for lunch and they were absolutely delicious 🍕🔥
They even had for Carol.

Even Dougall the whippet approved 🐾😉

🐾 Meet Amanda Vlok — Veterinary Nurse 🐾

We’re excited to introduce Amanda, the newest member of the VetX team! 💙

Amanda qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2009 after studying at Onderstepoort. Over the past 17 years, she has worked in a variety of veterinary settings, including specialist surgical, internal medicine, and after-hours emergency hospitals in Cape Town, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way.

Caring for animals has always been Amanda’s passion, and she loves making a difference in the lives of both patients and their families every day.

When she’s not at VetX, you’ll find her hiking with her dogs, Josef and Heidi, or relaxing at home with her two cats, Apricot and Grootkop.

Amanda has already become a valued and much-loved member of our team, and we’re thrilled to have her caring for our patients and supporting their families.

Hello Waffles, he is a 10-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog, came in for his vaccinations today 🐾

Such a sweet little fluffball — and judging by those giant paws, he’s definitely going to grow into a very big, beautiful boy! 🥰🐶
