Do You Know How to Save a Choking Dog? 🐶🚨

Knowing the Heimlich Maneuver for dogs could save your pet’s life in an emergency!

The Heimlich Maneuver for dogs is a first-aid technique used to help a choking dog dislodge an object stuck in its throat. Just like in humans, dogs can accidentally swallow toys, bones, or food that blocks their airway — and knowing how to act quickly can save their life.

Signs your dog may be choking:

Coughing or gagging
Difficulty breathing
Pawing at the mouth
Blue or pale gums
Collapse or unconsciousness (in severe cases)

Even if you manage to dislodge the object, take your dog to a vet immediately. Internal injuries or leftover fragments can still be dangerous.
