🐢💚 Sometimes, the signs that something is wrong aren’t always obvious…

This little tortoise’s owners noticed that her shell had burst, and thankfully they brought her in quickly. 🥺

She was egg-bound, and the pressure from trying to pass the egg had caused the shell to fracture. Under sedation, our team was able to remove the egg and treat her, and thankfully, she recovered well. 💕🐢

This is such an important reminder to know your exotic pet and watch for changes in behaviour, appetite, movement or appearance. Even something that seems unusual or small can be a sign of a serious problem.

💚 Early intervention can make all the difference.

We urgently need help finding safe, suitable homes for 40 Oriental chicken breeds who need to be relocated.

🐓 10 Roosters
🐔 30 Hens

⚠️ IMPORTANT: These chickens must go to homes where there are currently NO other chickens present.

This is an urgent situation, and we need responsible homes that can provide adequate space, care, protection and a safe environment for these beautiful birds. ❤️
