🐾❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO IRIS & HER MOM ❤️🐾

We would like to say the biggest thank you to beautiful Iris, who recently won Cutest Pet in the Pet Storey competition! 🥹🏆❤️

Instead of keeping all her prize money, Iris’s amazing mom decided to use some of it to buy food for our rescue babies. 🥺🐾

And this makes it even more special because Iris has a very special story with us.

Iris was one of the puppies we rescued from Soshungwe. When they arrived, they were tiny, weak and absolutely covered in ticks and fleas. 💔

We had to bottle-feed these little babies, doing everything we could to give them a chance at life.

Sadly, some of Iris’s little brothers and sisters were simply too weak and didn’t make it. 💔🌈

But Iris fought. ❤️

And look at her now…

She landed in the most perfect home, surrounded by love, and now she is giving back to the rescue that once helped save her. 🥹❤️

There really is nothing more beautiful than seeing one of our rescue babies grow up, thrive and then, in her own little way, help other animals in need. 🐶🐾

Thank you, Iris and Mom, for choosing to give back. Your kindness means more to us than you know. ❤️

With all the work that goes on around the rescue, cleaning kennels, caring for the animals, and everything in between, a good pair of safety boots is an absolute necessity!

If anyone has a new or gently used pair of safety boots in a size 7 that they would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. 🙏

BELLA & HER 5 BABIES WILL BE LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES! 🤎🐾

Meet beautiful Bella and her 5 little babies! 🥹🐶🐾

These gorgeous little ones will be ready for adoption in approximately 4 weeks, and we are already getting excited to see them find their forever families! 🏡❤️

They have all inherited those absolutely adorable long-haired Dachshund looks — it seems Dad’s genes definitely made themselves known! 😂🤎

🐶 ABOUT THE LITTER:

✨ Bella & her 5 puppies
✨ All five babies look like long-haired Dachshunds
✨ They will be ready for adoption in approximately 4 weeks
✨ Forever homes will be needed soon 🏡🐾

We know they are ridiculously cute and we’re sure people will already want to claim one 😂❤️, but please be patient.

They will be available very soon, and we will share all the details and start taking adoption applications when they are ready.
