The FS&NC DSA Challenge held at Kimberley Equestrian Centre.
What an incredible show💪 I could not have asked for anything more from my Team😎 It really felt like everything we worked on the entire year, came together this weekend.
It reminds me of the passage in Brad Stulberg’s book- The Way of Excellence 📚
“There is no greater illusion than thinking the accomplishment of some goal will change your life.
What will change your life is who you become in the process of going for it
Caring is cool.
You are not going to be the best anything including the best version of yourself-with an attitude of nonchalance.
Try hard and give a damn.
Having fun is the greatest competitive advantage there is.
Intensity and joy can coexist, and in the best performers, they almost always do.
Arrogance is loud. It comes from insecurity.

Listen to podcasts about the thing. Talk about the thing.
But these are all ways of protecting yourself from actually doing the thing.
Only doing the thing is doing the thing”
This weekend we did the thing. We had confidence. We had fun. We cared. And watching all my riders throughout a high pressure weekend, I am extremely proud of who they are becoming in the process of chasing their personal goals with their incredible equine partners🦄
