Hedgehogs 2love We breed an assortment of African Pygmy Hedgehogs that are then adopted by good homes and kept as pets. We also offer custom built cages and accessories.

We also offer custom built enslosures and accessories to suit. Our hedgehogs are VERY well looked after with our breeding pairs being given only the best quality food, exercise, care and loads of attention. We DO NOT inbreed. When purchasing your hedgehog from us we are able to equip you with everything that you need in order to take the best care of your hedgehog. From habitat requirements, to an

everyday care guide, food supplies and more. These animals make amazing pets for the whole family. We do our best to handle and spend time with all our hoglets, insuring that they are used to human contact by the time they are adopted. This makes the bonding process between you and your hedgehog easier.

Hedgehogs are small, omnivorous mammals native to Central Africa. They are recognized for their distinctive short quills, and for their appealing face.
The African pygmy hedgehog is an attractive animal and entertaining pet.

A frequently asked question regarding their most distinct feature – their quills, has always been: What is its purpose?
Well they actually serve several purposes:

1.They are used for offensive action against perceived
threats.
2. For passive protection against predator attacks.
3. Effective shock absorber to protect the animal from falls.
4. And camouflage coloration to blend in with natural environment and hide from predators.
