When is love not love?

I found a puppy on the road, he looked sick so I took him home because I love animals and wanted to help him and keep him . Now he is vomiting and has a runny tummy with lots of blood in it. He won't eat or move. I don't have money to take him to the Vet. PARVO.

I need your help. There is a cat that arrived 3 years ago at our house, she is not ours, but we love her and have been feeding and looking after her. She has given birth to kittens and we can't afford to feed more. STERILIZE

Hello. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. We love them, but my husband is not employed. Their hair is all falling out and they have sores on their bodies. We can't afford treatment. MANGE

The list is endless
Love is not enough
An animal costs money: they need regular food, they need to be vaccinated against all the dreaded viruses, they need tick, flea, mite and worm preventatives, they need to be sterilized, when they are sick they need to go to a vet.

Sadly your emotional need is not love, it is how hoarders start. If you cannot care for the life you take in, that is not love, because the suffering that animal endures afterwards is still suffering regardless of good intentions..

Please DO NOT collect animals you cannot care for. Suffering is not okay, even if the explanation was love.

My children 💕🥹 Spent the long weekend with them! 🐕 ft Nina, Whoopi, & Yoko

We did our usual beach walks plus Nina & Whoopi went in the pool afterwards🌊 and some stay in days with lots of playing! 😌
