Bringing a rescue animal home is the start of a beautiful journey 🐾
But remember, your new furry family member needs time to adjust to their new surroundings.

The 3-3-3 rule is a helpful guide to understanding the adjustment period:

🐾 3 days: They may feel overwhelmed, nervous or unsure as they decompress.

🐾 3 weeks: They begin settling into routines, showing more of their personality and getting to know you.

🐾 3 months: They may start feeling secure, comfortable and truly at home.

Every animal is unique, and some may need more time than others. Be patient, keep routines consistent, give them space when they need it, and let trust develop at their own pace.

The best things take time, and a little patience can make all the difference. ❤️
