The unheard side of the story: Astro takes you on a day in the life as a professional dog trainer (according to him).

The same instinct that makes your sheltie herd cars or your Singapore Special chase birds is why natural-born hunters and working breeds like Astro thrive in our daycare. The structure gives them the routine and repetition they crave, setting your dog up for success with the mental and physical stimulation they need. And you get peace of mind knowing they’re having the time of their lives while you’re at work.

Your dog’s favourite day of the week is just a click away, DM us to find out more!

Most people think communicating with your dog is just speech and body language, but there’s a secret third language!

Leash pressure language is like that ulu alley that leads to the best hidden Hokkien Mee stall. Not well known, but absolutely worth knowing.

Here’s what it does for you and your pup:
✅ Transforms chaotic walks into calm, connected ones
✅ Teaches your dog to make better choices on their own
✅ Builds a deeper bond rooted in trust, not just commands

We often treat walks like a chore. But your daily walk is actually the foundation of your relationship with your dog, it sets the tone for everything else.

Leash pressure language might just be the key to unlocking a whole new level with your pup.

Nobody mentions this, but dog owners all have that family/friends’ house with dogs that we frequent, but we can never bring our dogs there, because the doggos don’t ✨vibe✨ .

We can help you with that! In the past years, we have tuned up the pack dynamics for countless households with multiple dogs. We work with every dog one on one, and curate specific social dynamics for dogs whose owners need their dogs to be friends.

Pack dynamics is a nuanced matter that is crucial in these situations. We will time the relationship dynamics as necessary, and teach the humans at home how to omit and or commit certain behaviours to achieve healthy pack dynamics.

We are a regular weekly structured daycare program from a training angle. All our activities with your dog are aligned to help the most common struggles of domestic dog owners.

Here .sg, we specialise in dog behavioural issues for domestic dogs, from puppy bootcamp to behaviour modification. We found that when we train the dogs first on weekdays, and then their humans on weekends, we see much more success cases!

We focus on every dog mastering the 5 basic commands, customising drills for every dog based on their motivators. We switch on every dog’s work mode to challenge their mental focus, and simultaneously change bad habits during the learning process.

We nurture calmness, hone leadership, and create consistency as a lifestyle priority. Our job is done when your dog has mastered their basic commands, your problem is solved, and you can replicate our drills at home!

Wrestling buddies usually get very crazy with each other, they feed off each other’s energy, and it can quickly escalate and get out of control each time they meet.

Hence it’s important that we train playmates to work together, to practice coexistence while having the capability to exercise impulse control.

Play > pause for focus > then play again

This balance is crucial for all playmates to hone. When dogs learn to manage their energy, and master the skill to regulate themselves amongst exciting situations. And with that control-muscle, they can have all the wrestling they want without tipping over into chaos.

Today’s feature is our sweetest Shelby, an ex-biter who has been rehabilitated for years in TnT! She came to us at 6 years old with countless fights on her belt, strong pulling, and overexcitement.

Dogs condition on high numbers of repetition of the same experience. We used that to our advantage by making sure she switched on her work mode, and every interaction with dogs are pure coexistence. No one is allowed to greet Shelby, and she isn’t allowed to react, but she has no reason to as well!

We cannot erase the years that Shelby fought other dogs; she still does not like most dogs. But along the years, she has started to lay with introverts that mind their own beeswax. And the most precious of all, she has started sneak sniffing their bums, her hostility has turned to curiosity!

Should she ever want to start playing, we have a couple of gentle players lined up and ready, but we’re more than fine with her just falling asleep next to other dogs. Introverts need us as advocates too!

Our old girl is living her best life coexisting with other dogs, and we love that we expanded her world. She joins us and the pack for hours willing time away, peaceful and sound! Love your dog by leading; clarity and consistency moves mountains out of their way!

Here .sg, we work with every dog individually until they are proficient with their basic commands in a group setting.

After graduating to packwalk, we rotate our graduates to drill-days occasionally to make sure they sharpen their practical skills as well. Additionally, any dog that regresses to the distractions of the environment gets transferred to drills for a few weeks.

Because dogs are learning and unlearning every moment, the balance of drills and walks makes sure specific movements are adequately practised. And all dogs love it when we make it just challenging enough, yet achievable with some effort.

Every dog’s motivation is unique, it’s our job to make sure you master wha drives your dog’s success!

Walking without pulling, ignoring birds/cats/dogs, sit-stay in place, are not natural to dogs. They must be taught progressively. Dogs learn in high numbers of successes consecutively, without mistakes in between.

Drills are a series of movements executed upon verbal command. They come with rewarding objectives that are specific and consistent everywhere. Conditioned by high repetition motivated by rewards more than correction, drills are best lasting shorter than their attention span.

When leash, commands and motivators are in-sync, we get a few precious minutes of flow-state! When done right in high repetitions, your dog loses themselves in working with you, proficiency/mastery sets in somewhere between 50-150 successes in succession. By then, the consequence of the healthiest relationship dynamic is yours to keep.

Learning and unlearning can be tipped to our favour! Drop us a line today to find out more!

Pepper comes to us with her 3rd forever parents, with issues of strong pulling on walks, and over-excitement towards dogs.

Seeing her motivation for interaction, and willingness to work for it, we skipped greeting for her work mode, and relied on that to distract her from other dogs that are nearby. Withholding human attention kept her from being over-aroused, and occupied with the challenge, making it easy to ignore dogs right away!

In doing so for a couple of minutes, she is more composed. Then the highly arousing human interaction takes place as a bonus for her work.

Greeting dogs at the right time is one of the most beneficial strategies you can rely on to nurture calmness. You love the dog unconditionally, but express your love conditionally; when they are calm-er.

This is Pepper’s first drill with other dogs in close proximity, an overachiever if we’ve seen one. We’re excited to work on her gradual improvement week on week, stay tuned for more updates on her!

Playful dogs must play as soon as possible!

But uncontrolled play is highly addictive! Introducing it without clear structure and boundaries spells trouble. Play that is too intense, or too often causes chaos/fights and conditioning of the wrong behaviours.

Like a superpower yet to be mastered, playful pups have to be taught impulse control, self-regulation, asking permission (and taking rejections), before they are allowed free-roaming in the pit!

Dogs are learning and unlearning every moment, train along with us and drop us a line if you’re struggling, we are ready when you are!
