Brett's Desert Adventures We specialize in Horse drawn FUN! Brett's Desert Adventures is a Western entertainment, chuck wagon cookout, wagon ride and event business.

We provide horse drawn wagons and carriages for parades, weddings, parties and special events. Our signature event is our chuck wagon cookout at the ranch in the high desert just east of Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale, AZ. A recognized salesman, raconteur and teamster, Brett V. Barker has over 30 years of selling and training experience of people, horses and bird dogs. Brett is an accomplished story teller and cowboy poet. He has leveraged his strengths and passions to connect his customers, acquaintances and passers-by with horses and the cowboy way. His story has appeared in several Western publications including The Draft Horse Journal.

We enjoyed an early start for St. Patty's day! A great wagon ride in the desert followed by a dirty ribeye, corned beef and cabbage in the Dutch oven and Irish soda bread then Bailey's Irish Cream brownies for dessert. Gunner was his usual friendly host!

Jake will be mowing hay this June so he has started a workout program on the road drag. He had a good workout with Maude yesterday and Jackie enjoyed the ride! When we break young horses, putting a rider on them while they are working in harness is a safe and easy way to introduce the horse to both riding and driving. Jake must behave while working with Maude because she is all business!
