Here are 5 things a vet would NEVER do with their own dog. 👀🐾

We’ve teamed up with Rorythevet to share some of the things he’d never do when it comes to his dog, Nala, from skipping dental care to guessing food portions.

1. Obsessive grass-eating can often be a sign of nausea, and table scraps can be high fat and unhealthy for our pets. That is why I stick to complete, balanced nutrition like Lily's Kitchen instead.

2. Up to 80% of dogs have dental disease by three, and that stinky breath isn't normal - it's bacteria damaging their gums, which is why I'm religious about brushing, and incorporate dental chews like Woofbrush into Nala’s dental routine.

3. Some human meds are dangerously toxic to dogs, which is why I'd never recommend self-medicating your pet. Get in touch with your vet before treating any pain.

4. Eyeballing portions often means overfeeding, so I always measure using the pack guidelines to get Nala's calories spot on.

5. Vets have to treat many life-threatening stick injuries, which is why I swap sticks for durable rubber toys that are actually designed for safe play.
