About Purrfect Company:

If you're planning to go away, or simply work long hours, it can be stressful thinking about who will look after your cat. Many cats find new environments unsettling, which is why home visits are often the ideal solution. At Purrfect Company, we work with trusted local sitters who care for cats in the comfort and security of their own homes, helping them stay happy, relaxed and settled whilst you're away. All new customers are offered a free initial meeting with their sitter before any booking takes place. This gives you the opportunity to discuss your cat's routine and care requirements, whilst getting to know your sitter and asking any questions you may have. There is no obligation to book following the meeting. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received. You can choose either one or two 30-minute visits per day. Visits can include:
🐾 Feeding and fresh water
🐾 Strokes, cuddles, chat and attention
🐾 Playtime and enrichment
🐾 Brushing (if required)
🐾 Litter tray cleaning and general tidying up after your pet
🐾 Daily updates with photos and videos via WhatsApp, text or email (optional)
🐾 Watering indoor and garden plants
🐾 Putting bins out for collection
🐾 Opening and closing curtains for added security
🐾 Collecting and sorting post

We are also happy to care for other small pets, including fish, rabbits and similar household pets. There is no additional charge for more than one pet, although extra time may be recommended if you have a larger number of cats. Medication, including insulin, can often be administered and can be discussed during your initial meeting. For regular customers, sitters can securely retain keys between bookings at no additional cost. Your privacy and home security are extremely important to us. Sitters do not wear uniforms or use branded vehicles when visiting your home. We do not share customer names or addresses on social media. We may occasionally ask permission to share photos and use a cat's name in social media posts, but this will only ever be done with the owner's consent. You are always welcome to opt out of social media content. All sitters are fully insured, DBS checked, referenced and carefully selected to ensure they provide the highest standards of care and reliability. Huge congratulations to our purr-fect superstar, Angela, on being named a finalist in the Animal category in BBC Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2026!

Angela and her gorgeous & sassy Blossom have been part of the Purrfect family for many years, and this recognition is so well deserved. Angela works tirelessly to help cats find loving homes, and we've seen first-hand the difference she makes. From caring for Alfie in the churchyard twice a day to helping me find my own ginger boy, Charlie, her dedication never goes unnoticed.

We're absolutely pawsitive there’s no one more deserving of this honour. Well done, Angela. We’ll be keeping our paws crossed and rooting for you all the way! 😸

I had some lovely sits over the summer holidays. These including in depth chats with Molly, hide and seek with Dusty and Oreo, coffee on the patio with big Bob and photo sessions with marvellously marked Muffin!
This week is a week of regulars as families get some late summer sun. I should be jealous but I get all the cuddles.
