This pile isn't the small pruned branches we use for dog chews - it's larger branch and trunk sections from retired coffee trees, the raw material behind our Java coffee wood playstands for birds. Playstands need the structural mass and natural branching shape that only these bigger sections provide.

Sourcing this material means working with farms replacing older, less productive trees rather than routine pruning, since branch and trunk sections at this scale only become available when a tree is retired entirely, not from a normal pruning cycle.

That makes this raw material naturally limited compared to small pruned branches, which is why we source it from multiple farms and regions to keep production consistent for recurring playstand orders.

For B2B buyers in the pet bird category, this is where that product's raw material actually comes from.

CWDC Vietnam sources Java coffee wood playstands from retired coffee trees. Inquire at coffeewooddogchew.com.

This is a new shape in our natural chew lineup: a bone-shaped chew toy, hand-woven entirely from coconut coir fiber. It's a different raw material and form factor from our coffee wood chews, but the same sourcing philosophy - a natural fiber byproduct, twisted and shaped with nothing synthetic added.

For B2B buyers, a bone-shaped coir chew is an easy addition to a natural pet product lineup: a familiar, recognizable shape for retail shelves, made from a material story that's simple to explain to end consumers - coconut husk fiber, not plastic or rubber.

It also gives distributors already carrying our coffee wood chews a second natural-material SKU from the same supplier relationship, without adding a new vendor to manage.

CWDC Vietnam now offers coconut coir chew toys alongside coffee wood dog chews.

What if your pet's favorite toy came straight from a coffee tree?

Meet our newest innovation at CWDC Vietnam, a full collection of natural chew toys and playthings, handcrafted from sustainably harvested coffee wood and combined with coconut rope, cotton rope, and h**p rope.

Every piece is 100% natural, free from plastic, chemicals, and artificial dyes, safe for dogs to chew and safe for cats to bat, bite, and carry around.

For our feline friends, we've added soft feather accents that spark their natural hunting instinct, turning playtime into an enrichment activity. For dogs, the coffee wood core softens gradually with saliva, helping reduce plaque while giving them a long-lasting, satisfying chew.

Because every piece is made from upcycled coffee wood branches, this collection isn't just fun, it's part of a zero-deforestation, circular production model. Nothing wasted, everything repurposed.

From coconut rope balls to h**p-wrapped chew sticks and feathered teasers, this is enrichment and sustainability, woven into one product line.

Looking for a standout, eco-conscious product line for your pet store or brand? CWDC Vietnam is now open for wholesale inquiries and private label. Reach out today for samples and pricing.

Every batch of coffee wood we process starts with a day like this: routine pruning on a working coffee farm. At CWDC Vietnam, we time raw material collection around each farm's own pruning schedule, kept to maintain the trees for coffee bean production, not around our own production calendar.

That sequencing matters for a sustainability claim to hold up: the wood isn't harvested on demand, it's collected as an existing agricultural byproduct, whenever a farm's pruning cycle produces it.

For B2B partners documenting sourcing claims for their own retail compliance, that distinction - byproduct versus purpose-grown material - is often exactly what they need to verify before listing a product as sustainably sourced.

CWDC Vietnam sources coffee wood directly from pruning across Vietnam's coffee-growing regions.

A wider view of one of our sourcing sites: pruned coffee wood branches piled up as far as the eye can see, with our team sorting nearby. This scale is what lets us keep a steady, reliable supply for partners around the world.

This walk through the coffee fields is where a lot of our sourcing decisions get made. At CWDC Vietnam, we bring visiting partners directly into our raw material region - the working coffee farms of Vietnam's Central Highlands, not a showroom or a sample table.

We're not looking for every coffee tree here, just the older ones - trees past their peak for coffee bean yield, which farmers need to remove anyway to replant with younger, more productive stock. These aged, low-yield trees are exactly the ones we purchase.

There's a structural reason for that, not just an economic one. Younger coffee wood is too soft and green to hold up as a chew or playstand - it splits, and it doesn't last. Only wood from mature trees has the density our production requires. So the trees we remove were already headed for removal either way.

That's the core of our sustainability model - it isn't a claim added after the fact, it's built into which trees we're even allowed to buy. We're not competing with coffee farming for healthy, productive trees. We're taking material a farm needs to clear regardless, giving it a second life instead of letting it go to waste.

For a partner standing here, that's a different story than reading it in a supplier deck - you can see the tree, see why it's the right one, and ask any question, on the spot.

Before moving on, it's worth a minute with the coffee itself, not the wood - the bean. For partners less familiar with Vietnam's coffee industry, seeing the fruit on the branch connects the dots: this is Robusta country, Vietnam's Central Highlands, one of the world's largest coffee-growing regions.
