⚠️ Quản lý và an toàn sinh học chưa tốt
🦠 Bệnh do vi khuẩn
(Aeromonas, thối vây, lở loét)
• Xuất huyết, lở loét
• Mòn vây, bụng sưng
• Bơi lờ đờ
🍄 Nhiễm nấm (Saprolegnia)
• Xuất hiện lớp nấm dạng bông trên da, vây hoặc trứng
• Thường gặp ở cá bị thương hoặc stress
🪱 Ký sinh trùng
• Tăng tiết nhớt
• Nổi đầu, giảm ăn
• Tổn thương mang và hô hấp
🛡️ Giải pháp phòng bệnh
✔ Duy trì DO > 5 mg/L

🐟 In Aquaculture, Disease Outbreaks Don’t Just Kill Fish… They Collapse Farm Economics.
A sudden disease outbreak can reduce survival, slow growth, increase feed conversion ratio (FCR), and cause major financial losses within days.
And scientifically, most disease outbreaks are not random.
They are usually linked to:
⚠️ Poor water quality
⚠️ High stocking density
⚠️ Stress conditions
⚠️ Low dissolved oxygen
⚠️ Poor biosecurity and management
📌 Here are some common fish diseases every farmer should recognize early:
⚪ Ich / White Spot Disease (Ichthyophthiriasis)
Caused by protozoan parasite Ichthyophthirius multifiliis
Symptoms:
• White spots on body and gills
• Flashing/rubbing behavior
• Respiratory stress
Often triggered by sudden temperature fluctuations and stress.
🦠 Bacterial Diseases (Aeromoniasis, Fin Rot, Ulcers)
Common pathogens: Aeromonas spp., Pseudomonas spp.
Symptoms:
• Hemorrhage and ulcers
• Fin erosion
• Swollen abdomen
• Lethargic swimming
Frequently associated with poor pond hygiene and organic load accumulation.
🍄 Fungal Infection (Saprolegniasis)
Caused by water molds like Saprolegnia
Symptoms:
• Cotton-like growth on skin, fins, or eggs
• Common in injured or stressed fish
🪱 Parasitic Infestations
Including gill flukes and external protozoans
Symptoms:
• Excess mucus secretion
• Gasping at water surface
• Reduced feeding response
💡 Scientifically, prevention remains the most effective strategy.
✅ Maintain DO above 5 mg/L
✅ Maintain pH around 7.5–8.5
✅ Avoid overfeeding and ammonia buildup
✅ Use certified disease-free seed
✅ Quarantine new stock before stocking
✅ Regular pond liming and health monitoring
💬 Ground Reality:
Many farmers treat diseases only after mortality begins. But by that stage, feed loss, stress, and secondary infections have already affected production.
👉 Healthy ponds don’t happen by chance.
They are managed every single day.
In fisheries, the best medicine is often good management.
