Part 2
- Predation: Servals are solitary carnivores and are active day and night. They often hunt in places where they can hide and near water sources. They use sight and hearing more than smell to find prey. They often play with their food before eating.
They prey mainly on small rodents, such as mice, birds, frogs, insects and reptiles, using their hearing to locate their prey and then striking it with a surprise attack. 2 front paws, and eventually kills it with a bite to the neck or head.
The range is wide from 10-32 km 2 and always marks its territory with f***s, urine and saliva.
- Mating and breeding: Mating takes place at different times of the year in different parts of their range, but usually once or twice a year in an area. After a gestation period of two to three months, a litter of one to four is born. Kittens are weaned at one month of age and begin to hunt on their own at six months of age. They left their mother when they were only 12 months old.
- Personality: Servals are very intelligent cats. They always like to work at high intensity to maintain physical readiness for hunting and release excess energy. Friendliness towards other pets and children is rated quite low. However, there are still positive reviews recorded by some individuals raised by humans about the absolute loyalty of Serval cats.
-Serval cats in ancient culture:
Serval cats have been bred by humans since ancient Egypt and are depicted in their art. However, they are still not domesticated because they are difficult to care for and raise.

The lion (Panthera leo) is one of the great cats in the family Cats and a species of the leopard genus. Listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List since 1996, populations of this species in Africa have declined by about 43% since the early 1990s. In Western culture, lions are known as the lions. "king of the jungle" or "king of beasts". Lions are sexually dimorphic; Males are larger than females with a typical weight range of 150 to 250 kg (330 to 550 lb) for males and 120 to 182 kg (265 to 400 lb) for females, the second largest species in the family. Cat after the Northeast Asian tiger. Male lions can be easily recognized from a distance by their mane. Wild lions now inhabit sub-Saharan Africa and Asia (where surviving populations reside in the Gir Forest National Park in India), extinct subspecies of lions that once lived in North Africa and Southeast Asia ASIAN. Until the end of the Pleistocene, about 10,000 years ago, lions were the second most widely distributed mammal after humans. They then lived in most of Africa, across Eurasia from western Europe to India, and the Americas from the Yukon to Peru.[5] Lions are critically endangered, they have been listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1996 because lion populations in African countries have decreased by about 43% since the early 1990s. Many lion populations are unprotected outside of designated protected areas. Although the causes of the decline are not fully understood, habitat loss and human conflict are the biggest causes.
Lions live 10–14 years in the wild, in captivity they can live more than 20 years. In the wild, males rarely live more than 10 years, as a result of constant fighting with other like-minded competitors.[6] They usually live in savannas and savannas rather than in dense forests. Lions have a different social behavior than the rest of the Cat family with a herd lifestyle. A herd of lions consists of females and their cubs along with a small number of adult males. Groups of lionesses often hunt together, mainly hunting large ungulates. They are key carnivores and mainly eat raw meat, although they will also eat carrion when given the opportunity. Some lions have been known to be able to hunt humans, although this is unusual for them.
One of the most widely recognized animal symbols in human culture, the lion has been widely depicted in sculptures and paintings, on the national flag, and in films and literature. nowadays. Lions have been kept in captivity since the time of the Roman Empire and have been a key species sought after in zoos around the world since the late 18th century. The lion's cultural depiction is outstanding. in the Paleolithic; Carvings and paintings from the Lascaux and Chauvet caves in France date back 17,000 years, and depictions have occurred in most ancient and medieval cultures coinciding with previous and current ranges of Lion.

– Lynx rufus
Although the lynx prefers rabbits and hares, they will hunt anything from insects, chickens, geese, other birds, small rodents to deer. Prey selection depends on location, habitat, season of the year and abundance. Like most cats, the lynx is territorial and is largely solitary, though there is some overlap in its range. They use a number of methods of marking their territorial boundaries, including claw traces and mixed urine or f***s. Caped-tailed lynx mates from winter to spring, with pregnancy lasting about two months.
Although lynx has been widely hunted by humans, both for sports and for fur hunting, the population has demonstrated a recovery, though declining in some areas. This puzzling predator has been depicted in Native North American mythology and folklore of reclaiming Europeans.

The Asian Golden Cat (Catopuma temminckii), (English: Asian Golden Cat) is a carnivore of the Cat family of medium size (90 cm long, plus a 50 cm tail) weighing 12 up to 16 kg, mainly living in the wild. In confinement conditions live up to 20 years, but their average lifespan in the wild is probably much shorter. Their feathers are mainly dark red like fox feathers or golden brown, but can also be black or gray. Typically, their coat is one color slippery, but underneath may be speckled, and occasionally blotchy spots over the entire coat. However, in China there are other shades of leopard-like speckles, making it look like a Bengal cat. This speckled undercoat is recessive (in genetics that means when mating cheetahs with slippery leopards, their offspring have slippery feathers).
