We currently have 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 who would love some extra company, cuddles & playtime 🥰

Socialization is so important for growing pups, helping them build confidence, learn to trust and get ready for life in their future homes. 🏡

Even an hour spent playing, cuddling and giving them some one-on-one attention can make a difference — and we have a feeling you might enjoy it just as much as they do! 🐾

🐾 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘆 🤍

Kelsey is gentle soul with a gorgeous white coat and the sweetest disposition. Dog-friendly and a petite ~35–40 lbs, she truly is the total package. 🐶✨

Unfortunately, Kelsey has spent her entire life in the shelter. She’s watched so many of her friends leave with their new families, while she’s still here waiting — and she doesn’t understand why no one has chosen her yet 💔💔

Kelsey deserves more than anything to finally know what it feels like to have a home and family of her own. We’re posting her with the hope this will reach the right person!

Kelsey is available for both local and overseas adoption.

🐾 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀! 🐱💕

We often talk about our shelter dogs, but did you know we have nearly 20 adorable cats & kittens at the shelter who would LOVE some extra attention and cuddles? 🥰🐈

Spending time snuggling and socializing our cats is a great way to volunteer — and it’s a fun activity to bring the kids along for, too! 💕 Whether you have a little time to spare or simply need some cat therapy, our kitties would be very happy to see you.

🐾 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! 💛

These two pups, now named 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗲 & 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮, arrived at our shelter last month and were lucky enough to be scooped up by an amazing local foster who opened their home to not just one, but both! 🐶🐶

Fostering, even for a short respite period, can make a huge difference. It gives animals a much-needed break from the shelter and the chance to experience life in a home 🏡

🐾 Come spend your morning with us! We are located on the road to beautiful Josiah's Bay, and welcome dog walkers (& cat cuddlers) daily from 8-10am.

🌴Prefer to make a day of it? Take one of our dogs on a beach adventure! It's a great way to provide much needed socialization and a day out of the shelter.
