NOTICE

For the first time since we opened 6 years ago Diamond Estate Kennels and Cattery will be increasing some of the fees associated with dog boarding. This for the immediate future will only effect short term stays and only to owners that have not yet booked.

Our reasons stem directly from associated costs to us in the form of huge electricity bills (and no, we won’t do without the AC or clean laundry), water, shipping and feed prices.

So that we don’t make the essential, long-term boarding that many rely on this time of year unattainable to owners that value a safe, comfortable and professionally run establishment, we are only adjusting the nightly fee for 6 days or less bookings for our canine guests.

Catering for Cats..!

We have always been pleased to welcome our feline friends for stays in 'Merlins Cat Cottage', but it was time for some development. Earlier this year the cottage was given its own extension!

The brand new room is dedicated to larger cat kennels which can comfortably house 3 or 4 cats from the same family, and has been christened 'The Weston Wing' named after a certain vet who's herd of cats frequently holiday at the Cottage!

The new wing allows us to offer more options for cats who prefer to hide away in the corners of their condos or those that enjoy being more active - climbing to shelves and perches in the 6' high kennels.

For all cat owners traveling, but especially those off island for a month or more at a time, there are now even more realistic possibilities to board your feline friends in comfort.

We have been working hard over the past year to update and improve our kennel facilities as well as the farm that surrounds and protects our guest's 'home away from home'.
