I am Gardener who is for hire and will help you as a beginner or a long time gardener to help create the best possible garden whether flower, landscape, veggies or fruits.I am Green Gardener who only uses Compost, various manure and cover crops. I also grow heritage and heirloom seeds because they often have better flavor and are more disease resistance.This year we will be growing tomatoes, potat
oes, turnips, beets, corn, onions, rutabagas, parsnips, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, broccoli,brussel sprouts, and various lettuces. I am Gardener who thinks that all people should grow some or most of their fruits. The backyard Orchard can do this for you whether big or small yard. You can grow 95 % of your Fruit on a quarter acer like we do or some smaller amount by using dwarf versions, Espalier(pruning the tree on one plane such as against a fence) or in a barrel on your patio. I can help you pick out the fruits, pick the spots and help you plant them.We have on our lot, six peach ,three cherry, three pear, two plum, one apple, two crabapple, fig and three walnut trees. We also have raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, strawberries, blakberries and black raspberries. I have great success with local flowers and Roses and I think it is that I do not hover over them and I use lots of compost and manures. I grow for my wife Roses, Daffodils, Tulips, Irises, Pansy's, Sunflowers, Peonies, Marigolds, Zinnias, Purple Cone flower, Daisy's, Milkweed, Joe Pye weed,and any other one my wife likes. We also do all local flowers in our prairie rock garden. I am Gardener who uses heirloom seeds and saves them
for saving money and seeing if some new type will show up the next season. I can teach you how to save seeds. I am Green Gardener who uses compost and manure only to grow more food, give trees a fast start, make flowers bloom brighter colors and plants grow better roots. We compost all the leaves from our trees and any neighbors in the fall . We rototill all the leaves in the garden We use a lawn mower with a grass catcher to use the clippings for compost because it is rich in nutrients. We are trying to have as little lawn as possible but the clippings are put to good use. Also all food scrapes are composted except of animal source . the north winds in winter ,we have beautiful trees like
Redbud's and our fruit trees and I am growing Giant Sequoias for the Challenge.
